Jakarta, IO – Students enjoy meals provided under the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program on the first day of classes at Sekolah Rakyat Senior High School (SRMA 10), Jakarta (July 13). The meal distribution marked the start of the 2026/2027 academic year while supporting students’ nutritional needs during the learning process.
The Government has resumed the MBG program after temporarily suspending meal distribution during the school holiday. The pause was intended to evaluate the program, including improving distribution mechanisms and service quality, and was reported to have saved the state more than Rp3 trillion during the holiday period.

Sekolah Rakyat Senior High School (SRMA 10) Jakarta admitted 240 new students for the 2026/2027 academic year. Through the MBG program, the Government hopes students will receive adequate nutrition to improve their health, enhance learning concentration and help develop higher-quality human resources.
