Virtual seminar

An international virtual seminar on geometry, organised jointly by institutions in India and Libya, featured M. Raja Climax, IRS, founder-chairman of CEOA Group of Educational Institutions, presenting his paper, “The Twelve-Point Circle Theorem: Expanding the Classical Nine-Point Circle through Extensions of Medians.”

The seminar was organised by the International Cooperation Offices of the University of Wadi Al-Shatti, University of Gharyan and University of Nalut, in collaboration with Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi, and CEOA College of Arts and Science, Kariyapatti.

Principal, Kamaraj College, Poongothai, welcomed. University of Wadi Al-Shatti, Ghuslan Miskeen, and International Coordinator R. Ravindranath Nehru addressed. Professor Naji Elhadi Aboras, University of Nalut, felicitated.

Investiture ceremony

The investiture ceremony of S.B.O.A. School was held under the guidance of secretary and correspondent A. Senthil Ramesh.

Principal L. Latha Thiraviam presided. Student M. P. Erawling Zeplin, Head Boy, thanked students for electing him. Class leaders received badges from vice-principal S. Anitha Caroline and Headmistress M. Porkodi.

Student B.A. Bala Subramanian, Assistant Head Boy, proposed a vote of thanks.

Drona Global School, Anaiyur, organised an awareness programme to mark the International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking as part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Saptah 2026.

It was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Children Welfare and Special Services, and the District Child Protection Unit, Madurai.

Students were sensitised to rehabilitation, child protection, children’s rights and the National De-addiction Helpline (14446).

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT

Sethu Institute of Technology (SIT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Indonesia, to promote academic collaboration.

It was signed under the leadership of Founder and Chairman, SIT, S. Mohamed Jaleel, in the presence of professor Meliyana Ulandari and professor Rosy Fitrari Ramadhani representing UNJ.

The partnership will facilitate faculty and student exchange programmes, collaborative research, industry-oriented training, academic mobility, and the joint organisation of international conferences, seminars and workshops.

Professor Jebakumar Immanuel Edison and Dean Tamizhselvi coordinated.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT

A reunion for the 1988-1993 batch of students who had studied at Pandiyan Neduncheliyan Corporation Higher Secondary School in Madurai was held. The alumni who had gathered on the school premises this Sunday walked down the memory lane, recollecting memories.

The 40 old students were joined by the school Headmaster Sekar and teachers: Valarmathi, Kavitha, Muthulakshmi, Brinda and Chandramohan.

They honoured the teachers and also planted five neem saplings on the school premises.
