The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro performed well in our review and is also available on Amazon. The smartwatch is now receiving a new firmware update, which upgrades the system to version 4.10.5.1. It is currently unclear how widely the update has been rolled out, so some users may need to wait a bit longer.
This update significantly expands the watch’s feature set, especially for golfers. It adds support for more than 40,000 golf course maps, delivering substantial added value for users who play regularly. In addition, Amazfit introduces HybridCharge, the successor to BioCharge. The new system uses more data points to provide a more accurate estimate of physical readiness, which can be particularly useful for structured training and performance tracking.
Hyrox athletes also benefit from new training simulations designed to better prepare for competition. On race day, a new strategy feature helps users manage their energy more effectively. Based on my experience at least with running events, early pacing mistakes can be difficult to recover from, making such tools genuinely useful. There is also a small but notable change in the Readiness app: instead of referring to full recovery time, it now labels the metric as the recommended break before the next intense workout.
I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.
